Newt Gingrich may be staying in the race until the convention, but the Obama campaign seems to have written off the former front-runner.
The campaign took square aim at GOP presidential contenders Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, but failed to mention Gingrich, in an email sent to supporters on Thursday.
But when the Tea Party agenda—the same one that Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum have been fighting to take to the White House—personally affected (contest winner and alleged former Republican) Jim, it shook him into action.
Romney leads the delegate count, while Santorum won conservative primaries in Mississippi and Alabama on Tuesday, leading to renewed calls for Gingrich to drop out of the race.
