Networks Promote Jan 6 Anniversary as Major News Event

In the lead up to the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill, liberal news networks promoted their coverage similar to that of a major news event. MSNBC anchors advertised all-day live coverage from the steps of the Capitol, and CNN boasted of exclusive reporting on the "untold stories," with Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper taking their viewers "inside the U.S. Capitol".
