MSNBC guest Donny Deutsch made it a point to highlight Speaker Boehner’s skin tone on "Morning Joe’’ Thursday, exclaiming, "Look, his skin is darker than Obama’s! This is important!"
Cohost Mika Brzezinski shot down Deutsch’s remarks, retorting, "Says the man in the pink and gray suit. Really?" and "Frankly I don’t care."
Deutsch was referring to an image from the State of the Union where Boehner was seated behind President Obama. One can only hope that Deutsch’s comments were an attempt – albeit a very poor one – at humor.
