Kinzinger: Obama's VA Scandal Response ‘Incredibly Indecisive’

‘I Haven’t Seen Leadership from Obama in Six Years’

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R., Ill.) had harsh words for President Obama over his handling of the Veterans’ medical scandal and his lack of leadership.

Kinzinger told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum that in order to bring justice to the Veterans’ medical scandal, "It has to change at the top- from President Obama, frankly, down to VA Secretary Shinseki – I think he needs to resign."

He also called Obama out for his broken promises throughout his term and a half.

"I’ve had a lot of expectations of President Obama, none of which he has filled. He’s decisively indecisive. I think we are going to continue to see him indecisive on the issue of the VA, we’re going to continue to see Shinseki at the position for a while…I think he [Shinseki] needs to step down, but if he’s not willing to do it, the President has to take a leadership role, but I haven’t seen leadership from this President in six years," Kinzinger said.
