A Democratic state representative in Connecticut has entered an alcohol rehabilitation program following a court order, the Hartford Courant reports:
State Rep. Bruce "Zeke" Zalaski, who was charged in December with drunken driving, has been placed in an alcohol education program, court officials said.
Zalaski's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2013.
Zalaski, 61, a Democrat from Southington, was arrested in Bristol after someone reported seeing a car on North Main Street with the driver's door open and the engine running, police said.
