Bill Clinton mocked "the coal people" in Kentucky and West Virginia on Friday who once supported Democrats like him but now back GOP candidate Donald Trump.
According to the Daily Caller, Clinton suggested they were unreasonable and now reflexively oppose the policies of President Obama, who has pursued anti-coal measures.
"We all know how her opponent's done real well down in West Virginia and eastern Kentucky, 'cause the coal people don't like any of us anymore," he said at a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. "They all voted for me. I won twice, and they did well, and they blame the president when the sun doesn't come up in the morning now."
Hillary Clinton was forced to walk back comments earlier this year when she said she would put "a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business."
