Fox News reporter Jim Angle reported Monday that analysts predict Obamacare will eventually eliminate employer-provided coverage. According to Obamacare architect Zeke Emmanuel, 80 percent of employer-provided coverage will cease to be within the next decade.
"It's going to actually be better for people," Emmanuel said. "They'll have more choice. Most people who work for an employer and get their coverage through an employer do not have a choice."
According to Angle, Wall Street research firm S&P Capital IQ predicts 90 percent of such plans will disappear. The Obamacare penalty -- $2,000 -- is cheaper than it would be to pay for an employee’s insurance.
This trend threatens 150 million people who will have to resort to the Obamacare exchanges instead of receiving tax-free health coverage at work.
