ABC’s Josh Elliott announced Tuesday morning on "Good Morning America" that enrollment for the young adult bracket in Obamacare is much lower than the Obama Administration had anticipated.
People under the age of 35 make up less than a quarter of the total 2.2 million Americans enrolled in Obamacare.
Young adult enrollment in the health exchange is critical because young, healthy enrollees tend to pay more into the system than they take out, essentially subsidizing older adults.
