ABC's "The View" opened its show on Friday with a cringeworthy skit in which co-host Joy Behar tricked President Donald Trump into resigning his office.
The skit portrayed Trump in a mocking fashion and showed him having a conversation with Behar in the Oval Office while he sat behind the Resolute Desk.
After Behar told Trump that he is "polling lower than the Zika virus," she said that the president needed to go on "The View." She then handed him a form to sign, which she later revealed was actually a letter of resignation.
Behar ran off laughing as Trump asked, "Does this mean I can't be on 'Guy Day Friday,'" referencing when the show has a man on to be one of the co-hosts.
The actor who portrayed Trump, Anthony Atamanuik, also portrays the president on Comedy Central's "The President Show."
