Meet the man in the running for America's coolest government official: Sean Reyes.
Reyes' many talents include rapping, tribal war dancing, and impersonations of Elvis. He is also Utah's 21st Attorney General during his free time.
Reyes (R) is quite the Renaissance man, and he was not shy in demonstrating his abilities to Mark Halperin on With All Due Respect. The one-man show dished out an impressive rap, and followed by performing the Haka, a war dance from the Maori tribe in New Zealand made popular by the national rugby team. He didn't finish there--Reyes delivered the cherry on top by serenading Halperin to some fine Elvis lyrics.
If that was not enough, Reyes made a trip to Colombia to go undercover in a child sex trafficking sting in October 2014. There, he posed as a security guard for an American buyer of child sex slaves in coordination with the Attorney General's office, U.S. authorities, and the Colombian military. Operation Underground Railroad saved 127 children ranging from 10 to 16 years old.
Reyes is also the nephew of Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay.
During his rap, Reyes said, "I'm the real educated rapper, a connoisseur, and vocabulary master."
Yes, he is.
