Rapper Accused of Faking Death, Arrest Warrant Issued

'Tim Dog' May Have Faked Death To Avoid Paying Debts

A Mississippi judge has issued an arrest warrant for Rapper ‘Tim Dog’ who is supposed to be dead. Blair reportedly died earlier this year, at age 46, from diabetic complications.

But a growing amount of evidence has begun to suggest Tim Dog faked his death in an attempt to avoid paying women he’d scammed into financially supporting a comeback album he never intended to make.

Last week, Esther Pilgrim told Memphis news station WREG, there was no real evidence of his death. "There was nothing of what you would normally find," she said. "What city? Who found him? There was nothing with any type of concrete details."

Last year, Pilgrim accused him of using his fame to con her out of $32,000 to fund a "fictitious business deal." A Mississippi judge ordered that Blair pay her back, "one hundred dollars per month."

Pilgrim said that the payments stopped abruptly with news of his death.
