The son of former Fox News host Eric Bolling died Friday at the age of 19.

Eric Chase Bolling was the only son of Bolling and his wife Adrienne. Reporter Yashar Ali broke the news Saturday afternoon.

He was an economics student at the University of Colorado-Boulder and was found dead yesterday. The circumstances of his death have not been confirmed.

Bolling tweeted that he and his wife were "devastated" by the news and also addressed reporting by some news outlets that his son's death was a suicide, writing there was "no sign of self harm at this point" but an autopsy still needed to be done.

A Boulder police spokesperson said the death is being investigated.

The tragedy comes on the heels of Bolling's firing by Fox News Friday following a suspension for sexual harassment and sending inappropriate photos to female colleagues. The show he co-hosted, "The Fox News Specialists," was also cancelled.

"Fox News Channel is canceling The Specialists, and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably," Fox News said Friday. "We thank Eric for ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck."

Fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity tweeted a message of support for Bolling, who has subbed in on Hannity's primetime show and also co-hosted "The Five."
