Former talk show host Chelsea Handler attacked Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R., Calif.) on Sunday, accusing the congressman of colluding with the Russians during the 2016 election.

Handler claimed that "she," Rohrabacher, was working with the Russians, a reference to the fact that Rohrabacher met with Kremlin-linked lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya months before Donald Trump Jr. did the same.

Rohrabacher is actually a man.

Handler was, until recently, the host of Netflix's "Chelsea," a weekly comedy series that was critical of the Republican Party and President Donald Trump.

Earlier this month, the comedienne announced she was ending the show after two seasons to focus all of her energy on political activism. "I've decided not to return for another season of 'Chelsea,' and instead devote as much time as I can to becoming a more knowledgeable and engaged citizen."

Contrary to Handler's explanation, however, the show had been cancelled due to low viewership, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Before misgendering Rohrabacher, the former talk show host also took to Twitter recently to call for a military coup, and legislation that would punish those who found racist jokes funny.
