The late U.S. evangelist Billy Graham will lie in honor in the Capitol Rotunda next week for two days, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) announced Thursday.

Graham, who died Wednesday at the age of 99, is the first religious leader to receive the honor, the Daily Beast reports.

The last public figure to receive the honor was in 2012 when the late Sen. Daniel Inouye (D., Hawaii) lay in honor.

The speaker of the house tweeted that the reverend will receive the honor so members of the public can pay their respects. Graham's body will arrive on Feb. 28 and will lie until the end of the following day, March 1.

When the casket arrives, Ryan and McConnell will participate in a bicameral service.
