Charles Barkley’s war of words with the ladies of the greater San Antonio area has been a welcomed light-hearted subplot during the NBA Playoffs, especially after the whole Donald Sterling mess. Barkley has had the upper hand thus far, but with the Western Conference Finals opening in San Antonio last night, we were reminded why we should remember the Alamo.
Tim Duncan’s new boo thing, Vanessa Macias, was posted up courtside, well in the view of the TNT cameras that caught the clear message the ladies of the San Antonio were sending to Chuck.
But I don't think Vanessa needed a message on her t-shirt to get her point across. She's lovely on her own accord.
Namely, she's the most exciting thing about Tim Duncan.
Vanessa is a local sports media personality. She also hosted a regional tourism show, showing there's more to San Antonio than great basketball and Julian Castro. I'm booking my flight now.
Most of all, Vanessa stands by her man, firing shots at refs and opponents via social media.
Without Serge Ibaka, Duncan hammered the smaller Thunder front court for 27 points. Vanessa must be helping him with his hook shot.
