Famed fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh spoiled the party last fall when he deemed the heyday of supermodels over. According to Lindbergh, the industry has become too stale and over-saturated:
"In 1988 everything was beautiful and glamorous, but there were these other women, they had balls, they had brains, they put their hair back and wore no make up, that was it. That was the change," he said.
I don't know if Lindbergh has opened an issue of Sports Illustrated's swimsmoke mag in the last three years, but whether she's in Antarctica or in outer space, Kate Upton has beauty, brains, and balls.
Now that Kate's been named the face of Bobbie Brown cosmetics, a line that focuses on skin tone over how toned Kate looks in a two-piece, the world can't help having to look above Kate's neckline.
The only word that comes to mind when you think of Kate Upton: confidence.
Confidence.
Nothing but confidence.
If Lindbergh is looking for a model who's beautiful and glamorous with balls and brains to boot, he needn't look any further.
Most of all: She thinks of us little bloggers out there.
All of my @KateUpton @FreeBeacon posts have finally broken through http://t.co/4GLmOrtYYq
