Ghostface Killah Endorses

Congressional hopeful Roy Cho scored an invaluable endorsement the other day from one of the all time greats in hip-hop: Ghostface Killah.

Cho, a Democrat, is running against six-term incumbent Rep. Scott Garrett. According to Roll Call, Cho's music industry insider sister befriended the rap game Tony Starks and helped Cho score the essential Wu voting block.

"I hope to bring the same unbridled enthusiasm, fearlessness and creativity that Wu-Tang brought to music into the world of politics and government. And I’m hoping to surprise some people along the way," Cho asserted.

I appreciate Cho’s taste in music. A politician often takes the politically easy choice of naming Jay-Z or Tupac as his favorite MC. There are nine different rappers in the Wu. Pick one.

If Cho is able to pull off the massive upset and defeat Garrett, may I recommend one of Ghost’s classics for his Election Night party.
