As a wise woman—who is also my girlfriend—once said: "Ta-tas create jobs."
Harnessing the power of her gals, Emily Ratajkowski has rocketed into the pop culture zeitgeist, earning the coveted title of "Woman of the Summer" and a role in David Fincher's latest film, acting across from Ben Affleck. Ratajkowski is a witch—and America has fallen under her spell.
In a GQ feature, Ratajkowsk discusses how she's adjusting to going from just another model" to the star of "Blurred Lines."
What I like most about Ratajkowski is her stance on female empowerment. While some video chicks try to cash out by landing in reality TV or by helping George Clooney pretend he's 20 years younger than he actually is, Ratajkowski says a woman should stand alone.
"You should split on the first date because I believe for women standing up for themselves."
You tell it, sister. Emily's putting her self-designed skinny jeans where her mouth is, leading a DIY campaign for Rag & Bones.
She also took time in the GQ interview to dispense dating advice.
"The place to pick someone up is when you’re dancing, always the best way to see what that person is like and what their style is and how goofy they can be."
I couldn't agree more. Emily, America likes your style. We're in it for the long haul.
