West Virginia Democratic Delegate Ryan Ferns was arrested Friday and charged with drunken driving.
The Gazette-Mail reports:
The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register reports that police arrested the 29-year-old Ohio County Democrat after stopping his vehicle about 3:15 a.m. Friday. Police denied the newspaper's request for additional details, and a police report had not yet been filed in Ohio County Magistrate Court.
A court official said Ferns was charged at Wheeling police headquarters and released to another person. …
Ferns was elected in 2010 and is seeking re-election this year.
