Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) responded Monday to Donald Trump admitting the presidency is tougher than he thought by requesting he resign as a "favor" to the country.
Trump said last week being president was "more work than my previous life" and that he thought the presidency "would be easier." Waters referenced that Reuters interview in a tweet Monday when she called for him to "do himself & the country a favor & resign," the Hill reported.

Waters has been a fierce critic of the current president and previously said she would "fight [every day] until he's impeached."
The President is a liar, his actions are contemptible, & I'm going to fight everyday until he's impeached.
