Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is creating a new Broadway show that early advertisements brag has the potential to end Donald Trump's presidency.
"The Terms of My Surrender" will debut on July 28 and will be showing for 12 weeks, the Washington Post reported Monday.
"Can a Broadway show take down a sitting President?" is the tagline for the new ad campaign hyping Moore's upcoming one-man play.

"This exhilarating, urgent show is a hysterical theatrical coup d'etat that takes the utter lunacy of our times and turns it into a subversive piece of theater," reads the description on the show's website. "Don't miss this unprecedented live event from one of America's most incisive and hilarious voices."
"After all," it asks, "who better to answer the burning questions of the Trumpian era than the man who saw it all coming and tried to warn us?"
In an interview with the Post, Moore stood by the tagline.
"I operate under the hope that he won't be president for very long," he said. "Why don't we see if every night–and twice in the afternoon–for 12 weeks if a piece of theater can raise enough of a ruckus to discombobulate the man sitting in the Oval Office?"
"I don't know, but I'd like to find out," he continued. "Stranger things have happened in the last year."
The only record instance of a play taking down a sitting president was the 1865 production of Our American Cousin.
