MSNBC reporter Hallie Jackson appeared to knock White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer for ending his press conference early on Thursday, even though Spicer suggested at the beginning of his press conference that he might have to end earlier than usual.
Jackson described Thursday's press briefing as "short" and pointed out that the event Spicer said he left early for did not start until some time after the end of his press conference. Trump, according to the White House's daily schedule, was set to meet with first responders to the I-85 bridge collapse in Atlanta, Georgia.
"That is still 13 minutes away, just to note the timing on that," Jackson said of the event while bobbing her head.
Spicer told reporters during his opening remarks that he would keep the briefing "rather tight" so the press pool had enough time to set up for the event.
Jackson also noted wryly that Spicer typically does not answer questions shouted out to him as he leaves the podium.
