"Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski can be counted among those upset by a state judge ruling to overturn New York City's proposed ban on all sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces, calling the beverages "poison."
"Poison coming out of a machine and into your children's bodies," Brzezinski said. "The American Beverage Association is also very, very happy, calling the ruling a 'sigh of relief' because they can continue to make money selling poison."
New York Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling made the ruling Monday, stating that Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s regulation efforts are "fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences."
