Christina Knaack, a single mother from South Carolina, took a photograph of her tax return that went viral this week on Facebook after she explained how she will spend the money. Breitbart reported the story on Thursday.
"I got $5,600 on my taxes. Instead of buying my my kids the latest Jordans or fancy electronics I paid my rent for the YEAR," Knaack wrote in a caption on the photograph.
"I kno [sic] that a roof over my kids head is what's important. My kids don't want for anything because my priorities are straight," the caption continues.
The post had more than 3,700 comments and 29,000 reactions in the first 12 hours, Breitbart reported.
