First Lady Melania Trump has received a wave of disparaging comments from left-wing comedians since the election of her husband Donald Trump.
Her son Barron has also been a victim, despite being ten years old. But Melania is preparing to fight back: She is currently arranging a team that will help her tackle cyber bullying.
The first lady is assembling a team to manage cyber bullying against her family and others, and has hired former Vogue staffer and Met Ball organizer Stephanie Winston Wolkoff to be the chief strategist, Page Six reported Wednesday. Wolkoff is currently helping Trump hire a chief of staff, communications chief, and social secretary.
The latest disparaging remark against Trump came over the weekend from comedian and talkshow host Chelsea Handler, who said in a video interview with Variety that she did not "respect either one of those people," referring to the president and first lady, adding that Melania "barely speaks English."
Handler has used the joke several times, sharing multiple tweets in recent months attacking the first lady for her accent.

Handler told Variety that she was registering as an Independent, because "divisiveness is not the answer."
"And I think to get that message, we have to reach across party lines, forget your party," she said. "I'm registering as an Independent. I'm not gonna be a Democrat anymore because it's too divisive. This isn't working, this two-party system."
President Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, came to Melania's defense on Wednesday, telling Page Six, "Shame on Chelsea Handler for attacking our first lady in such a despicable manner."
"Don't be fooled by her accent. Melania is bright and articulate," he continued. "To be clear, our first lady speaks multiple languages, I believe five. How many languages do you speak, Chelsea?"
Along with English, Melania Trump is fluent in Slovene, French, Italian, and German, Fox News reported.
The White House said to the press this week that Barron Trump should also not fall victim to bullying, which has come from celebrities well over twice his age.
There is a "longstanding tradition that the children of presidents are afforded the opportunity to grow up outside of the political spotlight," the White House said in a press release.
But Barron has not been immune to jokes. "Saturday Night Live" writer Katie Rich was suspended for tweeting, "Barron will be this country's first home school shooter."
After she quickly came under attack, Rich sent out another tweet to apologize, writing: "I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet. I deeply regret my actions & offensive words. It was inexcusable & I'm so sorry."
Rosie O'Donnell also offended the first family when she shared a video on Twitter in late November that speculated Barron has autism.
"Barron Trump Autistic? If so–what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic," she wrote.
O'Donnell used Twitter again to apologize.
"I apologize to @MELANIATRUMP - i was insensitive in my RT - i am sorry for the pain i caused - it was not my intent - i am truly sorry."
The video was removed from YouTube after Melania threatened to sue its maker.
