Fox and Friends mocked Donald Trump's speech promoting his lavish new golf course instead of focusing on the Brexit vote outcome Friday.
The morning after Britain voted to leave the European Union, the presumptive Republican nominee spoke in Scotland in an effort to promote his new golf course opening in Turnberry.
Trump highlighted how beautiful the suites in the hotel are, saying "I don't know if you will get the chance but if you do you should try and get to see the suites because they are two of the most beautiful suites you will ever see."
CNN and MSNBC cut away from Trump's remarks far earlier, in bewilderment that Trump had barely mentioned the decision by British voters to leave the European Union. Fox and Friends finally cut away from Trump's speech after more than 10 minutes, and co-host Steve Doocy proceeded to mock Trump'sĀ self-promotion in the midst of the historicĀ vote.
"All right, ladies and gentlemen, a very proud Donald Trump talking about the renovations at Trump Turnberry, Scotland," Doocy said, as one of his co-hosts chuckled in the background. "We just learned a little while ago that lighthouse back there has been turned into the halfway house and it's got a fantastic suite if you're interested."
