American Crossroads released a new ad on Tuesday showing the litany of scandals involving Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
A timeline of scandals scrolls across the screen, reminding viewers of the Rose Law Firm scandal in 1992, the Whitewater Scandal of 1992, Travelgate in 1993, Clinton's controversial cattle futures in 1994, the use of the Lincoln Bedroom around the 1996 elections, Chinagate in 1996, Filegate from the same year, her 2008 remarks about once landing under sniper fire, her handling of the Benghazi terror attacks in 2012, her speeches to Wall Street firms and the ongoing scandal surrounding her email server.
As the timeline passes, a quote of hers is played.
"I think I'm probably the most transparent person in public life. I feel you know a lot more about me than you know about anybody else," she said.
The constant barrage of scandals and controversies over the years has led to Clinton currently having poor poll numbers when people are asked if she is trustworthy.
She is consistently crushed among Democratic primary voters by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) when they take honesty as a chief characteristic into account.
Clinton leads the delegate count, but Sanders, who embraces far-left socialist economics, has mounted a sturdier challenge than expected to her bid for the nomination.
