Hillary Clinton's issues in the polls go beyond the private email scandal and federal investigation plaguing her campaign, Morning Joe panelist Donny Deutsch said Friday.
Instead, as he said earlier in the segment, Americans are growing tired of Hillary Clinton's constant presence.
"I believe Hillary Clinton would be having the same exact set of problems even if this email scandal was not there," he said. "Her problems are bigger than the email problem. Her problem is I think the American populace has just turned off to her."
Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson disagreed with that assessment, although he did say there was a "media fatigue" with her. Co-host Mika Brzezinski, who has said she'll support Clinton if she's the nominee but has bashed her repeatedly for her private email server, said questions still needed to be answered.
"Inside the echo chamber, whatever you want to call it, I think we're, with Hillary Clinton, still not getting the answers to the email questions which are good questions," Brzezinski said. "They're legitimate questions, and the campaigns act like it doesn't exist and almost treat the American people like they're stupid."
