The Republican National Committee released an ad Friday about the hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton when she criticizes wealthy Americans and CEO pay.
The ad includes a video of Clinton at a South Carolina Democratic Women’s Council event where she complained about the ‘deck being stacked’ for the people at the top while a list of Clinton’s six-figure speaking fees is displayed.
"Because we are going to have to stand up to the people who want to keep the deck stacked in favor of those at the top," Clinton said.
Since Clinton stepped down as Secretary of State, she has traveled the world to give speeches. The speaking fees for these speeches ranged from $100,000 to $335,000.
"Something is wrong when top CEOs earn 300 times more than the typical American worker, Clinton said. "The 25 biggest hedge fund managers earn more than all the kindergarten teachers in America combined."
The Clintons have earned more than $30 million since 2014.
