The New York Mets announced they will honor killed NYPD officer Brian Moore before their Tuesday night game and will wear NYPD hats during the game.
"Honoring Officer Moore is important today," said manager Terry Collins during a press conference on Tuesday. "We will wear these hats with pride."

The 25-year-old Moore was shot in the head in Queens on Saturday and died in the hospital on Monday. Hundreds of officers lined the streets as his body was taken from the hospital.
This is the second time this season the Mets have honored NYPD officers killed in the line of duty. The families of Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, who were killed in Brooklyn while sitting in their car, were invited to throw out the first pitch for the team's home opener.
The game will be played against the Baltimore Orioles.
