Obama Laments Media's 'Constant News Cycle' for Covering Each Crisis of His Presidency

In an interview with the Huffington Post, President Obama said that with the increase use of social media, every news story is a crisis.

While Obama is not on Twitter, he did say social media has created a 24/7 news cycle and has covered every one of his crises.

The president did not take kindly to the fact that social media has the power to create panic, and that if a problem is not solved by the next day his presidency was over.

‘There must have been 15, 20 things over the past seven years folks have said, ‘This is it, it’s over,’" Obama said.
