Hillary Clinton Announces Press Conference Hours After Press Credentialing had Closed

Hillary Clinton is finally breaking her silence nearly two weeks after reports broke that she used a personal email address that was hosted on a private server. Clinton will hold a press conference Tuesday at the United Nations in New York.

In Tuesday’s press conference, sources close to Clinton have said she would accept questions from the media after her speech to the United Nations. The UN is notorious for a difficult media credentialing process that takes more than 24 hours to approve.

Clinton announced well after the credentialing time period had closed that she would hold the press conference at the UN.
