MSNBC: David Brock Saga 'Brings Back Echoes of 2008' Hillary Clinton Campaign

On Monday, David Brock quit Priorities USA, his Hillary Clinton super PAC. Brock said he was upset over tactics Priorities was using against other PACs. Brock is known for his on-again-off-again relationship with the Clintons.

When Hillary Clinton first ran for the White House in 2008, the cash-filled campaign was known to be a machine. Popularity never comes without controversy though--quite a few of the Hillary cliques began infighting and got in the way.

Brock threw a tantrum Monday and quit over an article in the New York Times about Clinton fundraiser Mary Pat Bonner, who took as much as a 12-and-a-half percent commission for the money she brought in.

Brock said that his PAC provided the information and called the article a "political hit piece."

After a few hours of cooling off, Brock wrote another letter saying that he is open to coming back to Priorities.
