Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ political party, Fatah, is threatening to aggressively target Israel for so-called war crimes in the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to new images posted on the political faction's Facebook page.
A picture of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's head next to a noose was recently posted on Fatah's Facebook page alongside an image of the ICC's logo. The word "soon" is written on the picture in both Arabic and Hebrew, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Abbas has already vowed to go after Israel at the ICC for its continued construction of Jewish homes in Jerusalem, as well as for incidents that took place during last summer's Gaza war.
Some observers remain concerned that the Palestinian's presence on the court will turn the respected legal body into a partisan anti-Israel kangaroo court.
