Jordan's Arab Bank, one of the most prominent financial institution's in the Middle East, was convicted of aiding Hamas terrorists and helping the terror group's operatives to "carry out a wave of violence in Israel that killed and wounded hundreds of Americans," according to Bloomberg.
The bank is said to have conducted business with more than 150 Hamas leaders and affiliates through the past decade, providing financing for around two dozen suicide bombings and other terror attacks, according to the U.S. court opinion filed Monday and reported on by numerous outlets.
Around 300 victims of terrorism and their families brought the suit against the bank and are seeking damages as a result of the Arab Bank's facilitation of Hamas terrorism.
