CNN host Anthony Bourdain blasted MSNBC for pointlessly shrieking to their own like minded viewers on Monday's The Nerdist podcast.
"I hate preaching to the converted," he said. "A nightmare would be for me to sit in a room where everybody totally agrees with everything I say."
Bourdain questioned why MSNBC and their liberal hosts insist on shrieking to their audience if they are really interested in changing wider public opinion, especially on issues like guns.
"You know, MSNBC, it’s like every show they’re saying ‘look at what these stupid Republican morons did today.' I’m betting there aren’t a lot of Republicans watching that channel. You’re not changing hearts or minds that way, it just seems kind of pointless to me, to shriek at each other that way, especially on issues like guns," he added.
The CNN host argued the liberal network would be better off if their hosts took some time to have a beer and eat some barbecue with the conservatives they disagree with.
