The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber on Tuesday discussed the GOP’s advantage in the upcoming midterm elections.
President Obama’s poor approval rating could spell trouble for Democrats in the months ahead as they seek election. It is "a potential problem when it comes to just trying to get voters out, particularly in 2014…For Democrats, the midterms will come down to voter turnout. They do want to get out as many people as they possibly can," she said.
Barber pointed to a USA Today/Pew poll that found Republicans have a significant lead in the upcoming elections. She told Fox News’ Jon Scott, "For right now, Republicans are in a very good position, especially for 2014."
