House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) called on Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and President Barack Obama to release Obamacare's full enrollment data.
"It is abundantly clear from this week’s delay that the administration has more precise enrollment numbers than they are publicly sharing," Cantor said in a statement. "It’s about time the president and Secretary Sebelius release the full and accurate enrollment data they have access to, so Americans can truly judge the effectiveness of Obamacare."
Cantor said that the law's implementation is "decided more by the whims of the White House political office than by the words written in the law."
"There is no greater proof of Obamacare’s failure than the president himself continually undermining his signature piece of legislation," Cantor said. "It’s become so commonplace for this law to be unilaterally changed or ignored that the media shrugs it off, while families suffer."
