On the eve of officially accepting the Democratic presidential nomination, Kamala Harris still has no policy page on her campaign website, so Republican nominee Donald Trump created a page for her.
Since Harris’s official campaign website does not include insight into her policy agenda, Trump launched "Kamala2024policies.com" to highlight Harris’s dismal record as the vice president and former California prosecutor.
The website lists nine policy positions that Harris has supported in the past—including "Fighting to Set Murderers Free," "Bringing Back the Green New Deal," "Abolish Borders," "Eliminate Private Health Insurance," and "More Taxes."
"Border Czar Kamala Harris opened the southern border to illegal alien criminals and deadly fentanyl, and as vice president, was the tie-breaking vote for far-left spending bills that raised taxes and sent prices skyrocketing for families across the country," the site reads.
Under the "Fighting to Set Murderers Free" tab, the Trump campaign points to Harris’s support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which helped bail out now-convicted murderers and violent criminals. The vice president still supports the fund today, the Washington Free Beacon reported, and at least one man freed by the bail fund went on to commit murder.
In her first policy speech last week, Harris vaguely outlined an economic plan that involves eliminating corporate "price gouging," which has been heavily criticized by economists on both sides of the aisle. Harris has refused to talk to the press to clarify her other policies since becoming the de facto Democratic nominee.
