The return of the New York City Marathon is a shining example of civic pride. So who else is better equipped to rescue Gotham from the Deep than C.J. Parker?
Pam Anderson, 46, finished her first marathon, which doubled as her first ever road race, trotting through the five Burroughs in 5:41:03, averaging a 13:02 mile. She ran the race with her brother, Gerry.
Pam pounded 26.2 miles of grueling pavement to raise money for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization. As you can tell by her physique, Pam is not your typical long distance runner.
Then again, she has repeatedly demonstrated the power to resist gravity..
Most of her running experience took place in Malibu.
Running on the beach during all of those Baywatch seasons can be quite the challenge. But running along the streets of Gotham is another matter entirely.
Running a marathon is not like running from Borat.
Pam's felt better.
