The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber broke down the specifics of the House and Senate compromise bill to fund the government Wednesday on The BlazeTV.

Barber said the compromise was not a total loss for Republicans, but the legislation contains none of the principal objectives relating to Obamacare that conservatives set out to reform at the outset of the shutdown.

Republicans who supported the shutdown, Barber explained, may have a difficult time explaining to constituents why they were not able to accomplish their goals in this respect.

However, it remains to be seen if the Tea Party's decision to push for the shutdown without the consent of the Republican establishment will continue to create intraparty friction, Barber said.
