A man is accused of driving drunk and crashing faced a judge Wednesday afternoon, but it’s what police said happened before the crash that’s really hard to believe.
Police said the crash happened Monday night at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Menaul. Officers said they found an open bottle of vodka in a vehicle, a shoe, a naked woman and a man hiding in an unlikely place.
Police say Luis Briones ran northbound on Pennsylvania, jumped into a bush and tried to hide in a cactus. So what got Briones into suck a prickly situation?
Police claim he and his lady friend got quite close inside his SUV before the crash. According to the criminal complaint, "Briones had a pair of black shorts inside out and it appeared as if the two were having sexual intercourse of some sort while driving."
