President Obama did not get a warm welcome from one New Jersey resident in his visit to the Jersey Shore Tuesday.
This was followed by a schooling by Gov. Chris Christie (R., N.J.) in the "Touchdown Fever" football throwing carnival game, Politico reports:
A guy in front of a bait and tackle shop in Point Pleasant was giving the motorcade the finger as it rolled past. His sign had "Obama" with a slash through it.
Obama and Christie then paid an unannounced visit to the Point Pleasant boardwalk... ...to an arcade called "TouchDown Fever" to try and win a stuffed bear by tossing a football through a tire.
Obama tried and missed a few times. Christie then threw the ball through the tire, on his first and only try. Obama gave him a high five ending in a clasp. And said, "That's because he's running for office."
