John Bolton: Obama on a Different Planet than Rest of Us, Wishing Away Threats to US

January 21, 2015

John Bolton came out swinging Wednesday in response to recent foreign policy claims made by the Obama administration that Wednesday a top Democrat likened to Iranian propaganda.

In the State of the Union address, President Obama failed to mention Al Qaeda even once. The lack of mention of any radical Islamic group in the speech had Bolton questioning whether the President wants to "wish away the threats made against the United States."

"I think he is the most radical president we have ever seen," Bolton said. "His mentality would fit in in British political circles in the 1930s."

The President has stated that he will veto any legislation that would place sanctions against Iran. The former U.S. Ambassador the United Nations said that the president views Congress as a bigger threat than Iran.

"The president is on a different parallel planet to the one we're sitting on," Bolton said. "I think the moment has really come where the Democrats, if they have the slightest hope of ever having a national security wing, need to stand up."
