Tennessee Man Unsuccessfully Tries To Sign Up for Obamacare for 3 Weeks

October 23, 2013

Despite reassurances from the Obama administration that the website glitches will soon be fixed, Americans are still hesitant to sign up for the health insurance.

David Harrison is a twenty two year old from Tennessee who has a full time job, but no health insurance. He has attempted to enroll in Obamacare every day for three consecutive weeks, sometimes staying up until midnight or one in the morning trying to complete the application. He says he has only advanced about half way through the application and expressed dismay because some of the plans he is eligible for are close to $200 a month.

President Obama has suggested that Americans call the customer support hot line for assistance, but consumers are reporting that the number is indundated by too many calls.

Such turmoil over the Obamacare rollout has prompted Tennessee Senator Alexander Lamar to introduce a bill that would require weekly reports on the health insurance exchanges created by Obamacare.
