President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Marc Kasowitz, used profanity and threatened a stranger in an email chain Wednesday night.

A retired public relations professional was inspired to send Kasowitz an email telling him to resign after reading a story earlier this week on how Kasowitz is not seeking security clearance, despite the Russia case involving classified information, ProPublica reported.

The man, who asked to remain anonymous, received a series of profanity-filled emails back from Kasowitz that used threatening language.

The first email Kasowitz send in response simply read, "F*ck you." He even took the time to censor himself.

Kasowitz replied again 14 minutes later without a response from the sender, but this email was not as censored.

Some highlights from the second email include: "How dare you send me an email like that," "I’m on you now," and "Watch your back, bitch."

ProPublica confirmed that the man was who he said he was and that the emails were authentic. The man’s number and technical details in his emails, like the IP addresses and names, show that the emails are from that man and the ones from Kasowitz match his firm. Kasowitz even gave the man a number not widely available in one of the emails.

The email chain went as followed:

Marc,

You don't know me. I don't know you.

But I believe it is in your interest and the long-term interest of your firm for you to resign from your position advising the President re. pending federal legal matters. No good can come from this and, in fact, your name may be turn out to be a disaoraging historical footnote to the presidency of DJ.

F*ck you

And you don't know me, but I will know you

How dare you send me and email like that

I'm on you now. You are fucking with me now

Let's see who you are

Watch your back , bitch

Thank you for your kind reply.

I may be in touch as appropriate.

Call me. If you want a conversation. I will have it with you. You are such a piece of shit. Call me. Don't be afraid, you piece of shit. Stand up. If you don't call, you're just afraid. Call me.

I'm Jewish. I presume you are too. Stop being afraid. Call me. Or give me your number and I will call you. I already know where you live, I'm on you. You might as well call me. You will see me. I promise. Bro.

The man forwarded the emails to the FBI to create a written record in case Kasowitz followed through on his threats.

Law experts in online threats told ProPublica that this language is "inching [Kasowitz] closer to the line" of legal trouble.

Kasowitz has been retained periodically by Trump for over 15 years.
