Melania Trump appeared to find out at the same time as everyone else Thursday that she would be giving speeches on behalf of her husband Donald Trump in the closing days of the 2016 campaign.
During an interview on ABC's Good Morning America, Melania Trump affirmed her support for the "movement" her husband has started amid allegations against him of sexual misconduct.
"Does it make you want to get out there yourself and help him out the final two weeks?" host George Stephanopoulos asked.
"We will see," she said. "My priority is my son Barron, our son Barron, and I support him 100 percent, and I'm there for him every time he needs me, and I might join him. We will see."
"She's actually going to make two or three speeches," Donald Trump said.
"Oh!" his wife said in surprise, smiling.
"Made some news right there," Stephanopoulos said.
The GOP nominee called his wife an "amazing public speaker."
"She's agreed to do two or three speeches, and I think it's going to be big speeches, important speeches," he said.
