President Trump held a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday and mainstream media reporters are expressing their anger over not getting called on.
Reporters wasted no time taking their grievances with Trump to Twitter. CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta was one of the reporters who was most frustrated at not being picked to ask a question.
His anger was expressed in a short tweet that simply said, "I tried."
I tried

Trump called on two reporters at the press conference: someone from the Christian Broadcasting Network and Katie Pavlich from Townhall.com. This only made the frustration worse for reporters who complained that Trump is only calling on conservative-leaning networks.
One way to avoid hard questions on Trump admin #Russia ties? Call on CBN & a conservative website.

Trump has called on ONLY conservative outlets in his last 3 joint press conferences.

So -- the two reporters called on today: Christian Broadcasting Network and Town Hall. No question on Trump/Russia contacts.

CNN's Acosta said the "fix is in" on air when referencing Trump only calling on conservative-leaning networks.
