Liberal pundits and journalists on Thursday attacked a Fox News tweet that listed European terrorist attacks, saying that last weekend's attack in Charlottesville, Va. should have been on the list.

During the Barcelona terrorist attack on Thursday, the Fox News Research twitter account listed "other 2017 vehicular attacks," qualified with a Flag of Europe emoji.

While the European flag indicated Fox was only talking about European attacks, critics evidently missed it and accused Fox of intentionally omitting the vehicular attack in Charlottesville that occurred only days earlier.

Media Matters for America senior fellow Matthew Gertz was one of the earliest to spread Fox's tweet, but later deleted it and admitted he didn't see the European flag.
