President Obama was heckled Thursday night during a speech at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's annual gala.
While addressing his commitment to immigration reform, an undocumented woman began shouting that undocumented immigrants "need relief now!"
"I’m about to get to that," Obama said, addressing the heckler.
Obama assured the audience that the threat of deportation would continue to diminish.
"That’s because of the actions I took and the administration took," Obama said.
The president vowed to take executive action on immigration before the end of the year--but after the midterm elections.
